Cloud

Cloud is Google’s integrated cloud computing platform designed to build, deploy, and scale applications and data workloads securely and reliably. It offers core infrastructure services including virtual machines (Compute Engine), managed Kubernetes (Google Kubernetes Engine), serverless computing (Cloud Functions and Cloud Run), and scalable storage options (Cloud Storage, Filestore, and persistent disks). For data management and analytics, Cloud provides fully managed databases (Cloud SQL, Firestore, Spanner), data warehousing (BigQuery), streaming and batch data processing (Dataflow, Dataproc), and robust data integration tools.

The platform includes a broad suite of AI and machine learning capabilities such as Vertex AI for building, training, and deploying ML models, pre-trained APIs for vision, speech, natural language, and translation, and tools for generative AI and custom model tuning. Cloud supports hybrid and multi-cloud environments through Anthos and related networking and management services, enabling consistent operations across on-premises and multiple cloud providers.
