1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our AICavo platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use our Service, you must:

Be at least 13 years old
Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
Agree to comply with all Terms and applicable laws

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You must verify your email address to activate your account
Usernames must be unique and cannot be changed more than once every 90 days
One account per person; multiple accounts are prohibited
You are responsible for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Security

Keep your password confidential and secure
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
We are not liable for losses due to stolen credentials
Failed login attempts may result in temporary account lockout (5 failed attempts = 1-3 hour lockout for security)

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your settings. Upon deletion, your public contributions (tools, comments) may remain visible but disassociated from your account.

4. User Content and Conduct

4.1 Content Submission

When submitting AI tools, comments, or other content:

You must own or have rights to the content
Content must be accurate and not misleading
You grant us a non-exclusive license to display your content
We may review and approve submissions before publication
We reserve the right to remove or edit content at our discretion

4.1.1 Content Review and Editorial Modifications

To maintain quality, clarity, and consistency across the platform, AICavo may review, format, or make limited editorial modifications to user-submitted tool listings and related content.

Such modifications may include correcting grammar, improving readability, adjusting formatting, refining incomplete or unclear tool titles, taglines, or descriptions, and assigning appropriate categories or tags.

Editorial modifications do not transfer ownership of the content and do not imply endorsement, partnership, or responsibility for the accuracy of user-submitted claims. Where appropriate, substantial changes may be reviewed or coordinated with the original submitter.

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You may NOT:

Post illegal, offensive, or harmful content
Spam, harass, or abuse other users
Submit fake or fraudulent tools
Manipulate votes, rankings, or gamification systems
Scrape or harvest data without permission
Attempt to bypass security measures
Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations
Use automated bots or scripts without authorization
Infringe on intellectual property rights

4.3 Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on our platform.

4.4 Tool Listings, Categories, and Information Accuracy

AICavo is a discovery and directory platform. While the platform primarily focuses on AI tools, we may also list non-AI products, including but not limited to SaaS tools, software applications, browser extensions, APIs, and other digital products that may be useful for business, professional, educational, or personal use.

Tool listings on the platform are provided for informational and discovery purposes only. We do not guarantee that any tool, product, or service listed is exclusively AI-based, actively maintained, available in all regions, or suitable for every user’s specific needs.

We strive to keep tool information accurate and up to date; however, inaccuracies may occur due to various reasons, including but not limited to:

Changes made by the tool provider to features, pricing, availability, or branding
Updates, redesigns, or content changes on third-party websites
Delays or limitations in our internal review or update processes
User-submitted content that becomes outdated over time
Errors, omissions, or differences between advertised and actual functionality

AICavo does not verify, endorse, warrant, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, or reliability of any tool listing, pricing information, claims, or third-party content displayed on the platform.

Users are solely responsible for independently verifying tool details, pricing, terms, security practices, and overall suitability before using or purchasing any third-party product or service.

4.5 Tool Listings, Ownership Status, and Community Interactions

Tools listed on AICavo may be added by the platform itself, by community members, or by verified tool owners. Not all listed tools are submitted, managed, or claimed by their respective owners.

AICavo operates as an independent discovery and information platform. The inclusion of any tool or business does not imply a partnership, endorsement, affiliation, or approval by the tool owner unless explicitly stated.

The platform provides community-driven features including, but not limited to, reviews, ratings, upvotes, comments, discussions, and other forms of user interaction ("User Interactions"). These interactions represent the opinions and experiences of individual users only.

AICavo does not control, influence, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, fairness, legality, or truthfulness of user-generated content or community activity.

AICavo shall not be held responsible or liable for any direct or indirect losses, reputational harm, loss of revenue, loss of customers, or business impact experienced by tool owners or businesses as a result of tool listings, rankings, reviews, ratings, comments, or other User Interactions on the platform.

Tool owners and businesses acknowledge that public feedback and visibility are inherent aspects of an open discovery platform. Any engagement with or presence on AICavo is at their own discretion and risk.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Subscription Plans

Free/Starter Plan: Basic access with limited features
Premium Plan: Enhanced features for power users
Enterprise Plan: Full features with API access and priority support

5.2 Free Trials

Premium: 7-day trial (one per user, ever)
Enterprise: 7-day trial (one per user, ever)
Trial access ends immediately if payment is not submitted
Online payment processor: Automatic billing after trial unless cancelled

5.3 Payment Terms

Payments processed securely through Lemon Squeezy (supporting Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal)
Monthly or yearly billing available
All subscription fees are non-refundable due to the free trial period provided
Promoted listings are non-refundable once activated
Subscription continues until you cancel

5.4 Pricing Changes & Plan Updates

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any subscription plan, pricing, or feature at any time at our sole discretion.
Any pricing changes will be clearly announced on our Pricing page at least 7 days or up to 30 days in advance, depending on the nature of the change.
Pricing updates will apply only to new purchases or future billing cycles. Existing active subscriptions will remain unaffected until the end of their current billing period.
By continuing to use or renew your subscription after the effective date of any pricing changes, you agree to pay the updated fees.
If you do not agree to the new pricing, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect to avoid being charged the updated rates.

5.5 Promotional Pricing, Discounts & Giveaways

Promotional pricing, discounts, giveaways, credits, or limited-time offers are provided at our discretion and may be subject to additional terms and conditions disclosed at the time of the promotion.
Such promotions are time-limited, non-transferable, and may not be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated. We reserve the right to modify or end any promotional campaign at any time.
Users who receive promotional pricing or discounts agree to comply with any eligibility requirements and usage restrictions associated with the offer.
Unless otherwise specified, promotional pricing applies only to the initial purchase or subscription period. Subsequent renewals will be charged at the standard rates in effect at that time.

5.6 Refunds & Cancellations

5.7 Promoted Listings

Promoted listings are paid advertising placements. Payment is required upfront. Promotions run for the specified duration. Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy.

6. Gamification System

Points, badges, and streaks are earned through legitimate platform activity
We reserve the right to adjust or remove points for policy violations
Gaming the system (automation, fake accounts) will result in account suspension
Leaderboard rankings are for entertainment and may be reset periodically
Points have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash

7. API Access

API access is exclusively available for Enterprise subscribers:

Rate limits apply based on your plan
API keys must be kept secure
Abuse or excessive usage may result in suspension
We do not guarantee uninterrupted API availability

8. Intellectual Property

Our platform, including design, code, logos, and trademarks, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute our platform code
Use our branding without permission
Reverse engineer our systems
Create derivative works without authorization

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:

We do not guarantee accuracy of tool information
We are not responsible for user-generated content
We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
Damages arising from use or inability to use the Service
Third-party content or external services

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
