At AICavo, we want you to be completely satisfied with our services. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms for refunds, cancellations, and subscription management.
By subscribing to any of our paid services, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
2. Free Trial Period
2.1 Trial Terms
- Duration: 7-day free trial for both Premium and Enterprise plans
- Eligibility: One free trial per user account, per lifetime
- Full Access: Complete access to all plan features during the trial
- Automatic Billing: Your subscription will automatically start and be billed at the end of the trial unless cancelled.
2.2 Trial Cancellation
You can cancel your trial at any time during the 7-day period with no charges. To avoid being charged: cancel before the trial ends.
3. Subscription Refunds
3.1 No Refund Policy
Due to the free trial period provided, all subscription payments are non-refundable. This includes:
- Monthly subscription fees
- Annual subscription fees
- Upgrade or plan change fees
- Partial month refunds
3.2 Exceptions
Refunds may be issued only in the following circumstances:
- Payment Processing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to our system error
- Service Outage: Extended service interruption (more than 72 consecutive hours) caused by AICavo
- Account Termination by AICavo: If we terminate your account for reasons other than Terms of Service violations
- Legal Requirements: Where required by applicable consumer protection laws
3.3 Refund Requests
To request a refund under exceptional circumstances, contact us within 7 days of the charge through our contact form. Include your transaction ID and reason for the request.
4. Starter Plan Policy
No Refunds for Starter Plan: The Starter Plan is a one-time, non-refundable purchase. Once purchased, no refunds will be provided under any circumstances.
The Starter Plan is designed as an affordable entry-level option with a one-time payment. Due to the nature of this plan:
- One-Time Payment: The Starter Plan is a single, non-recurring payment
- Immediate Access: Full access to Starter Plan features is granted immediately upon purchase
- No Refund Policy: We do not offer refunds, partial refunds, or credits for the Starter Plan
- No Exceptions: This policy applies regardless of usage or any other circumstances
By purchasing the Starter Plan, you acknowledge and agree that the payment is final and non-refundable.
5. Subscription Cancellation
5.1 How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time through:
- Your Dashboard → Subscription Settings → Cancel Subscription
- Contacting our support team
5.2 Cancellation Effects
Immediate Cancellation: Your subscription ends immediately, but you will not receive a refund for the current billing period.
End of Billing Cycle Cancellation: You can continue to access premium features until the end of your current billing period.
5.3 After Cancellation
- Your account reverts to the Free plan
- Submitted tools remain visible (if approved)
- You cannot submit new tools until you resubscribe
- Your account data is retained according to our Privacy Policy
- You can reactivate your subscription at any time
6. Promoted Listings & One-Time Purchases
6.1 Promotion Refunds
Important: Promoted listings (3-day, 7-day, 14-day, 30-day promotions) are non-refundable once they start running.
Promoted listings are subject to the following refund policy:
- Before Activation: Full refund available only if you cancel before the promotion is activated by our admin team
- After Activation: Absolutely no refunds once the promotion goes live and starts displaying
- Technical Issues Only: Partial or full refund only if the promotion completely failed to deliver due to verified platform errors (not performance-related)
6.2 No Performance Guarantees
Promoted listings guarantee placement visibility only, not clicks, conversions, or specific performance metrics. Refunds will not be issued based on:
- Low click-through rates
- Insufficient traffic or impressions (if promotion was displayed as promised)
- Poor conversion rates or signups
- Changes in market conditions or user behavior
6.3 Refund Request Window
Any promotion refund requests for technical issues must be submitted within 48 hours of the issue occurring with evidence. Requests submitted after the promotion period ends will not be considered.
7. Billing Disputes
If you notice an unauthorized charge or billing error:
- Contact us immediately through our support channels
- Provide transaction details (date, amount, transaction ID)
- We will investigate within 5 business days
- Resolution will be provided within 10 business days
Note: Do not file a chargeback before contacting us. Chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension.
8. Plan Changes
8.1 Upgrade Policy
- Upgrades take effect immediately
- You are charged the prorated difference for the remainder of the billing period
- Next billing cycle reflects the new plan price
8.2 Downgrade Policy
Important: We do not offer mid-subscription downgrades. If you wish to change to a lower-tier plan:
- You must complete your current subscription period
- Cancel your current subscription before it renews
- Purchase the desired lower-tier plan after cancellation
- No refunds for the difference between plans
9. Payment Methods & Processing
We accept payments through Lemon Squeezy, our secure payment processor:
- Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express
- Digital Wallets: PayPal
- Automatic Billing: Recurring subscriptions are processed automatically after trial
Promoted Listings: One-time payments for promoted listings (3-day, 7-day, 14-day, 30-day promotions) are also processed securely through Lemon Squeezy.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days if approved.
10. Consumer Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law. Some jurisdictions provide additional refund rights, including:
- EU: 14-day "cooling off" period for distance purchases
- UK: Consumer Rights Act 2015
- Australia: Australian Consumer Law
- US: State-specific consumer protection laws
If your local laws provide stronger protections, those rights supersede this policy.
