BIOS

BIOS is an AI Scientist designed specifically for biomedical researchers, enabling end-to-end support across the research workflow. It orchestrates multiple specialized sub-agents to help users search, interpret, and synthesize complex literature, as well as analyze and reason over biomedical data. The primary purpose of BIOS is to accelerate hypothesis generation, study design, and evidence-based decision-making in life sciences and healthcare research.

At its core, BIOS integrates agents for systematic literature review, semantic search across large corpora, and automated extraction of key entities such as genes, pathways, variants, drugs, and clinical outcomes. It can summarize and compare findings across studies, highlight methodological differences, and identify gaps or inconsistencies in the evidence base. BIOS also supports data-centric tasks, including exploratory data analysis, basic statistical modeling, and interpretation of results in the context of existing biomedical knowledge. Its architecture allows chaining of these capabilities, so a user can move from question formulation to literature mapping, data analysis, and structured reporting within a single environment.
