Tidalcloud

Tidalcloud is a cloud migration and modernization platform designed to help organizations assess, plan, and execute moves from on-premises or legacy environments to modern cloud architectures. The platform ingests data from existing infrastructure, applications, and workloads to create a detailed, data-driven inventory of an organization’s IT estate. Using this inventory, Tidalcloud analyzes application dependencies, technology stacks, usage patterns, and business criticality to generate migration strategies and modernization roadmaps.

Key capabilities include automated discovery of servers and applications, dependency mapping, and classification of workloads by migration approach (such as rehost, replatform, or refactor). The tool provides cost modeling and right-sizing recommendations for different cloud providers, enabling teams to compare scenarios and understand the financial impact of various migration options. Tidalcloud also supports portfolio-level planning, allowing users to group applications into waves, prioritize efforts, and track progress across complex programs.
