ShareX

ShareX is a free and open-source screen capture and file-sharing tool designed for Windows. It enables users to quickly capture or record any region of their screen and instantly save or upload the result. The primary purpose of ShareX is to streamline screenshot, screencast, and sharing workflows for power users, developers, content creators, and IT professionals who need efficient, configurable tools rather than simple one-click utilities.

ShareX supports a wide range of capture modes, including full screen, window, region, scrolling capture, and custom shapes, as well as screen recording with or without audio in formats like MP4 and GIF. It provides an extensive workflow system, allowing users to define automated tasks that run after capture, such as adding annotations, watermarks, or effects; performing OCR; and uploading to many destinations.
