Kubecost

Kubecost is a Kubernetes cost monitoring and optimization platform that provides real-time visibility into infrastructure spend across clusters, namespaces, workloads, and cloud providers. It integrates directly with Kubernetes and cloud billing data to allocate costs accurately to teams, applications, and projects, including shared and idle resources. Kubecost offers granular cost breakdowns by label, deployment, service, and pod, enabling engineering and FinOps teams to understand which workloads drive costs and how changes impact spend.

The tool includes built-in recommendations for rightsizing CPU and memory requests, identifying overprovisioned resources, and consolidating underutilized nodes.
