Vmod

Vmod is a digital 3D fabric library designed to bring real-world textiles into virtual environments with high fidelity. It provides thousands of hyper-realistic, customizable 3D materials derived from physical “twin” fabrics, enabling accurate visualization of texture, drape, and surface behavior. The primary purpose of Vmod is to streamline digital material sourcing and visualization for fashion, apparel, and product design workflows, reducing reliance on physical samples and manual material recreation.

The platform offers a large, searchable library of fabric types, including knits, wovens, technical textiles, and specialty materials, each captured with detailed physical and visual attributes. Materials are optimized for use in leading 3D design and visualization tools, with standardized PBR textures and parameters that integrate into existing pipelines. Users can adjust colorways, patterns, and certain material properties to explore variations without reshooting or rescanning fabrics. By basing each digital material on a real-world counterpart, Vmod supports more accurate simulation of light interaction, surface detail, and overall garment appearance.
