Rube

Rube is an AI-powered automation platform designed to let users trigger real actions across their software stack using natural language. By connecting to over 500 applications, including Gmail, Slack, GitHub, Notion, Google Calendar, and more, Rube centralizes workflow automation behind a conversational interface. Its primary purpose is to translate plain-language requests into concrete, auditable actions that run reliably across multiple tools and services.

Once connected, Rube can perform tasks such as sending emails, posting to Slack channels, creating GitHub issues, updating Notion pages, managing calendar events, and summarizing recent activity or meetings. Users can define multi-step workflows, chain actions across different apps, and reuse common automations without writing code. Rube also exposes its capabilities through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling compatible AI tools and agents to call Rube as an action layer for executing tasks in external systems.
