Optimal Workshop is a user research platform that helps teams plan, run, and analyze UX research studies in a structured, repeatable way. It provides a suite of specialized tools for understanding information architecture, navigation, content findability, and user behavior across digital products.

Key capabilities include card sorting (OptimalSort) to test and refine information architecture, tree testing (Treejack) to evaluate how easily users can locate content in a proposed structure, and first-click testing (Chalkmark) to identify where users expect to complete tasks on designs or prototypes. The platform also offers online surveys (Questions) for gathering attitudinal feedback and a qualitative research tool (Reframer) for capturing, tagging, and synthesizing user interview notes and observations.
