Mixcheck is an online audio analysis and enhancement tool designed to help producers, mixing engineers, and artists objectively evaluate and improve their mixes and masters. By uploading a track, users receive detailed feedback on clarity, balance, loudness, and tonal characteristics, allowing them to identify technical issues that may not be obvious when working in a familiar listening environment. The primary purpose of Mixcheck is to ensure that music translates reliably across streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube, as well as different playback systems.

The platform provides in-depth metering and analysis, including loudness normalization relative to common streaming standards, stereo image assessment, and frequency balance evaluation. It highlights problematic areas—such as excessive low end, harsh mids, or masked vocals—and offers clear, actionable suggestions for correction. Mixcheck also includes optional Mastering+ processing, which applies targeted adjustments based on the analysis to bring tracks closer to competitive commercial releases. Users can compare before-and-after versions to understand the impact of changes and refine their own mixing and mastering decisions.
